Our hope is that serving others becomes our focus throughout the year. Simple acts of selfless love can open hearts to Jesus, and together we can make a difference. We pray you will join us as we jumpstart our vision to reach more people beyond the FBC Westlake building.
Gumbo Cook-off
June 22nd | Immediately following service.
Come join us in support for our children's and youth ministries as we raise funds to help benefit our children and youth ministries. The funds raised will help support these ministries in various ways, such as sending kids to camps.
The gumbo cookoff will be for bragging rights to say you have what it takes to make a delicious gumbo that is a crowd favorite!
You must it in your own pot and bring the necessary spoon to ladle into bowls!
If you don't want to compete in the cook-off, there are other ways to help! See the list of items we are needing provided under the cook-off. The church will be providing serveware, but we will need help with many other items!
